Way to rock that deep V! Mickey Rourke has changed a lot since he first started out in Hollywood more than three decades ago, and he’s not done evolving. If not for his trademark tattoos, the Sin City: A Dame to Kill For actor might have been unrecognizable at a recent event.
For one thing, the 62-year-old actor had most of his longish gray hair pushed back and up, a la Ryan Cabrera in the early aughts. He also had on a white deep-V-neck T-shirt, which offered a peek at some of the ink on his tanned chest. His face appeared to be somewhat slimmer, as well.
Rourke reportedly lost around 35 pounds last year while training for a boxing match against an opponent more than 30 years his junior. As noted at the time, the Oscar-nominated star returned to the ring in November for his first fight in 20 years, taking down 29-year-old Elliot Seymour in just two rounds.
Seymour later claimed to TMZ that the bout was fixed, and that he had been offered $15,000 to make the actor look good. He noted, however, that Rourke himself likely had no knowledge of the alleged fix, saying the star was a “stand-up guy” and a “nice man.” Rourke’s team denied the allegations.

Prior to the fight, Rourke had been in a string of movies including The Expendables and Iron Man 2. His most notable role of the last decade, however, was in 2008’s The Wrestler, when he bulked up and sported long blonde hair to play Randy “The Ram” Robinson.
The movie makeover was especially notable given Rourke’s hunky past in films like Nine 1/2 Weeks, Diner, and Body Heat.
According to IMDb, the star has no fewer than four movies in the works for 2015: Skin Traffik, costarring Daryl Hannah; War Pigs, with Dolph Lundgren and Chuck Liddell; The Effects of Blunt Force Trauma, with Freida Pinto and Ryan Kwanten; and Ashby, with Emma Roberts and Nat Wolff.
